
Today, the company officially launched the first Realme-branded smartphone called Realme 1 in India. Under the OPPO in partnership with Amazon India announced a new sub-brand called Realme. As seen in the teaser images, the device comes with a glass back body with the diamond finish. The Realme 1 smartphone will be exclusively sold via Amazon India and comes in Diamond Black, Silver, and Solar Red color options. Along with the powerful specifications, the Realme 1 also offers beautiful design. The rear of the Realme 1 with the diamond finish looks similar to the OPPO F7 Diamond Black special edition smartphone.
Talking about the specifications, the Realme 1 comes with a 6-inch 18:9 display with Full HD+ (2160*1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 12 nm MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor , which comes in three different Ram & Storage variants 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB. There is also a dedicated MicroSD card for further expanding the storage.The Realme 1 runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with the highly customized ColorOS 5.0 laid on top. It is backed by a 3,410mAh battery. Along with dual 4G support, the Realme 1 offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
Coming to the cameras, there is a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. There is no fingerprint sensor on this device, but the company is offering the face unlock feature.
Coming to the pricing, the base variant of the Realme 1 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage costs Rs. 8990.
The 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal Storage will be costing Rs 10,990/- and 6GB RAM with 128 GB of internal storage Rs 13990/-. While the 4GB RAM variant comes only in Silver color, the 3GB and 6GB RAM variants will be available in Diamond Black and Solar Red color options. Both the 3GB and 6GB RAM variant will go on sale starting May 25th.
