OnePlus 6 Officially Launched with All-Glass Body for Rs 34,999


The OnePlus 6 is now officially launched in the Indian market. The device comes in 6GB + 64GB and 8GB + 128GB storage options. The device will be exclusively sold through Amazon India from  22nd May. Coming to the pricing, the OnePlus 6 with 6GB and 8GB RAM will be costing Rs. 34,999 and Rs. 39,999 respectively.

The OnePlus 6 will be the second smartphone from OnePlus to come glass body. The mid-range OnePlus X launched in 2015 is the first OnePlus smartphone to embrace the glass design. It comes in Mirror Black, Midnight Black, and Silk White color options.
The dual cameras on the rear are now placed in the top middle position. On the front, we can see the notch display that increases the screen-to-body ratio to 84%.  To give strength to this all-glass body, the company is using the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and rear.
The OnePlus 6 is only splash resistant, but not water resistant as there is no IP certification. Along with the OnePlus logo on the rear, we are newly seeing the ‘Designed by OnePlus’ tagline. The alert slider position is changed from left edge to right edge on the OnePlus 6.
There is a 6.28-inch Optic AMOLED display with a notch on top. It offers Full HD+ (2280 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio.It is backed by the same 3,300mAh non-removable battery as seen on the OnePlus 5T. Even the Dash Charge technology remains same as on its predecessor it gives up to 5V/4A (20W) output. The OnePlus 6 also features software-based facial recognition technology to support face unlock. 
Talking about the cameras, the company has brought a couple of new features. The OnePlus 6 can now record 4K videos at 60 fps and 720p super slow motion videos at 480 fps. The primary rear camera sports 16MP Sony IMX519 sensor with 1.22µm pixel size, OIS, EIS, and f/1.7 aperture. This new sensor is said to be 19% larger than the Sony IMX398 sensor which is used in the OnePlus 5T. The 20MP secondary rear camera remains same as like to the OnePlus 5T. Even the 16MP Sony IMX371 sensor on the front is the same one offered with the OnePlus 5T.
The OnePlus 6 newly comes with a video editor for quickly editing the videos. Connectivity options include Cat.16 LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C 2.0 port.
It comes powered by the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 630 GPU and Kryo 385 CPU. The device will be available in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants with 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options. There will be no MicroSD card support for expanding the storage. It runs on the Android 8.1 Oreo-based Oxygen OS 5.1.2 out of the box. As seen on other major flagship smartphones, there are no stereo speakers on the OnePlus 6.

Honor Debuts Laptop Market with Macbook Clone

Honor has been teasing about its first ever laptop from the last couple of weeks. It was then mentioned to be named as Honor Magicbook. Today, the company has officially launched its first-ever laptop called Honor Magicbook along with the flagship Honor 10 smartphone. The engineers at Honor also seems to have chosen Macbook as the reference design for their first ever laptop. The Honor Magicbook comes with very thin bezels on either side of the display. Today, the company officially launched the first Realme-branded smartphone called Realme 1 in India. Under the  OPPO in partnership with Amazon India announced a new sub-brand called Realme.    As seen in the teaser images, the device comes with a glass back body with the diamond finish.
