Xiaomi Might Launch Redmi S2 with 16MP Selfie Camera as Redmi Y2 in India


Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi S2 budget smartphone in China. The Redmi S2 priced at 999 Yuan is the company’s most affordable smartphone with dual camera setup. On the design, it looks similar to the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Now, Xiaomi teased to launch a new smartphone under the Redmi Y-series in India on June 7th. We might see the Redmi Y2 on the launch day as the successor to last year’s Redmi Y1.

While there is no confirmation, the device in the teaser image looks quite similar to the Redmi S2. We expect the base variant of the Redmi Y2 to cost under Rs. 10,000. The device comes with a metal unibody design and sports a 5.99-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the same old Snapdragon 625 processor that also powered several other Xiaomi devices. The device comes in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage

There is a triple card slot for adding two nano SIM cards and one MicroSD card. The Redmi S2 launched in China came with Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9 out of the box. It Comes with 12MP + 5MP dual cameras on the rear and a 16MP single camera on the front. The device is backed by a 3,080mAh non-removable battery measures 8.1 mm thickness. Xiaomi is also offering face unlock along with fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device.
Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, IR Blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.

Honor Debuts Laptop Market with Macbook Clone

Honor has been teasing about its first ever laptop from the last couple of weeks. It was then mentioned to be named as Honor Magicbook. Today, the company has officially launched its first-ever laptop called Honor Magicbook along with the flagship Honor 10 smartphone. The engineers at Honor also seems to have chosen Macbook as the reference design for their first ever laptop. The Honor Magicbook comes with very thin bezels on either side of the display. It sports aluminum body and comes in Silver and Grey color options. OPPO Realme 1 Launched from Rs 8990

Today, the company officially launched the first Realme-branded smartphone called Realme 1 in India. Under the  OPPO in partnership with Amazon India announced a new sub-brand called Realme.    As seen in the teaser images, the device comes with a glass back body with the diamond finish. The Realme 1 smartphone will be exclusively sold via Amazon India and comes in Diamond Black, Silver, and Solar Red color options.  Along with the powerful specifications, the Realme 1 also offers beautiful design.
